Duties:

  • CNC Programming
  • CNC Setup (3 axis mills, pallet changer, turning center)
  • CNC Operation
  • Verification of Materials & Components by Inspection Against Prints
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must perform all duties in conjunction with OSHA and WISHA requirements
  • Follow written and verbal details to complete assignments or jobs
  • Operate Forklift
  • Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly
  • Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Deburr laser cut parts, tap holes, prioritize and organize jobs for press brake

*Operate, and setup CNC and manual press brakes

*Provide quality assurance testing of departmental parts

*Perform other duties as assigned

*Possess a keen sense of attention to detail

*Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise

Qualifications

*2 plus years experience in metal fabrication

*Ability to read manufacturing prints

*Ability to operate machinery, forklift, and various shop tools

*Able to perform quality inspections using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.

*Ability to regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 lbs. frequently lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs.

*Ability to work in confined spaces

*Ability to work in environments with exposure to dust, and fumes

*Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection and possibly a hard hat

American Alloy LLC. Is a fast Paced, growth oriented precision metal fabricating company is in search of an experienced Amada Press brake operator. Other press brake experience will also be considered. The qualified individual will be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring equipment and set up Amada Press brakes. It is suggested that you have at least 2 years set-up experience and a diverse knowledge in the bending of Aluminum, Stainless and CRS (in thicknesses from .032 to.250) This position requires lifting, bending and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

  • 5+years experience MIG welding required
  • AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, AWS D1.2 qualifications preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints
  • Ability to work on your own or in a team
  • Proficient in shop math and problem solving skills
  • Ability to use shop tools such as grinder, band saw, calipers, plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene torch, etc. is preferred
  • Ability to determine material types and gauges
  • Possess a keen sense of attention to detail
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication shills
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Duties

  • Weld mild steel, stainless steel, (occasionally aluminum) according to blueprints
  • Inspect welded parts against blueprints
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must perform all duties in accordance with OSHA and WISHA requirements
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assignments or jobs
