Basic Objective:                              

Provide programs and nest for the laser department. Keep departmental on time, keep percentages and/or efficiencies as high as possible to aid in the external on time delivery of product. Provide dimensional information where and when required to verify conformance to customer requirements. Create flat patterns with required tooling to form parts appropriately and add missing fabrication information to customer drawings. Create shop fabrication drawings and communicate special requirements and/or circumstances to the manufacturing areas.

Reports to: Production Manager & COO

Authority:

To identify and deem un-useable any customer document and/or files that are missing basic required fabrication information. To request the help of the customer service department, sales department or production manager to aid in obtaining said information. Modify fabrication information to meet customer requirements.

Are you a qualified Amada or Mitsubishi Laser Operator? Do you have any experience setting up and running lasers or water jets? Do you want a permanent, full time position in a stable, growth oriented company? If so, American Alloy LLC. would like to talk to you. The qualified individual will be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring equipment, set up, operate and adjust Amada or Mitsubishi laser cutting systems. It is suggested that you have a diverse knowledge cutting Aluminum, Stainless and CRS (in thicknesses from .032″ to1.00″) This position requires lifting, bending and standing for long periods as well as the use of power hand tools, machinery and material handling equipment.

Position Summary

Knowledge and Skills

Proven experience in a leadership role, with five years in a supervisory capacity.
Expert knowledge in the practical application of electrostatic powder coating to metals.

Custom coating expertise including application of metallic and clear coats.
Expert knowledge in application of both water based and solvent based paints to various metals.

Position

The Painter prepares surfaces for painting and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of applications methods and materials; mixes and matches paints and finishes; performs inspections, clean ups, storage and disposal of paint products; and operates various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of applying both water based and solvent based paints to various metal parts per customer specifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience with various paint spray systems

American Alloy LLC. Is a fast Paced, growth oriented precision metal fabricating company is in search of an experienced Amada Press brake operator. Other press brake experience will also be considered. The qualified individual will be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring equipment and set up Amada Press brakes. It is suggested that you have at least 2 years set-up experience and a diverse knowledge in the bending of Aluminum, Stainless and CRS (in thicknesses from .032 to.250) This position requires lifting, bending and standing for long periods.

Pay will increase to $18/hour upon completion of training. Training should take 2 to 3 months.

Duties & Responsibilities

In this position you will be training under an experienced Quality Inspector
Visual and dimensional inspections and/or functional testing to the company standards and requirements
Formally reporting of results and identification of non-conformances to responsible parties
Assist in weld inspection and non-destructive examination (NDE)
Hands on with various manufacturing processes to include welding, fabrication, sheet metal forming, etc.
Quality measurement and inspection
Working to ensure 3rd party manufacturers meet company expectations
Reading and interpreting drawings
